We met up with my brother who flew in to San Francisco, CA to meet us this morning. We arrived and ate apple fritters and coffee (kiddos had hot chocolate) and sat fown to eat at Pier 39 with sail boats bobbing in the background.
We then boarded a ferry and traveled to Angel Island. We had arranged for a tram to take us around the island and we had great views of the Bay area and the tour guide gave some good info to the kiddos. The weather was a crisp 61 degrees with a constant 25+ mph wind.
I would brave the airplane all over again to see the kids and my family for this great trip. We may all be broke when we get home but I would pay to do it all over again.
