Cane River Creole National Park

We just left the park after driving the historic trail and visiting Magnolia and Oakland Plantations. The kiddos completed another Junior Ranger program. We planned/lucked up on a Zydeco music festival. The kids were not impressed but the crowd was gearing up for some hoopin and hollerin. I was not expecting much out of this park, but it turnes out to be one of my favorites with some very friendly and helpful Rangers.
