Fort Davis National Historic Site

We had the opportunity to visit the Fort this morning and had a pretty good time. If Western history is your cup of tea then this out of the way site is for you. Caleb was our wildlife spotter and he saw his first Mule deer. 

The kids did not complete the junior ranger program for the park, but a very nice park ranger offered to allow them to mail it in and she would mail the shields back. She was impressed with how well behaved the kids acted and did not want them to miss out.
