Viksburg National Battlefield

We made it to Vicksburg around 3:00 and we watched a movie about the battle.  We then drove the battlefield tour which took about an hour. The views in this park are amazing and the Junior Ranger program wasvery good with all four of the kiddos finishing and earning their badges (this is the sixth Junior Ranger program they have finished). The kids got their first glimpse of the Mississippi River around 5:00pm. The ride in was without event with the exception that we listened to Jackson by Johnny Cash while driving through Jackson, MS.
