San Antonio Missions National Historic Site

We visited two of the four Missions today. The first on the list was Mission Concepcion, we were able to walk yhe grounds however this is a working Catholic church and Mass was in process so we did not go in. 

The second stop took us to Mission San Jose like the first Mission Mass was in session but we toured the grounds, watched a well written NPS video and the kids workes with the Rangers to earn another Junior Ranger medal. We also had time to be a little silly in the gift shop. 

Due to clearance and construction issues we did not get to tour the other two missions, but it was a great morning excursion.
